We’ve been looking forward to this trip for several months and the time finally came to get to TN! We met my brother’s family there and rented a 3 story cabin. The cabin was great! I didn’t take too many pictures of it – I should have got more! We took all of our dogs and they loved the view from the patio. We spent a lot of time on the patio, when were were at the cabin. It was very relaxing. There’s rumor of a bear, Calvin, that visits the cabin. We never saw Calvin, but you better believe I was on the look out!
The last night we were there we carved some pumpkins! Can you tell which one was Izzy’s?
All of these images are from my Galaxy S4, I did take some DSLR pics, but not many.
Part 2 coming soon – Dollywood!
Awesome stone wall that was about 2 miles long on both sides of the road – on the back roads of Kentucky
Surprisingly, the colors were more plentiful in the foothills (both north and south of Gatlinburg), but we did have some color to enjoy while on the porch.

Is this Calvin?!
The loft that was attached the bedroom that Jen and I used
Jack-o-lantern with the fire on. We used that fireplace a lot.
For our anniversary, Jen and I returned to Gatlinburg to our favorite little cabin – Always. It was cloudy all 4 days we were there except for the day we were leaving. There weren’t too many photo opportunities, but I did the best with what I had to work with. Sometimes mother nature just doesn’t want to cooperate. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back next year!
And a shoutout – HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little brother, Micah. He turns 21y/o today!!
I’ll post some of the more silly pictures tomorrow. My Aunt Debbie told us about the Christmas Place, which we visited. That was Christmas overload! It was amazing!
